Christmas time is movie time

What is Christmas all about? Family? Food? Presents? Days off? Check, check, check and check. But there is another returning event every year: The TV programm. And it is mostly the same every year. So it became a tradition to watch the same movies over and over again. But what movies. Good you ask. Here's my ultimate list of five movies you shouldn't miss:

Die Hard (1988)
The best Christmas movie ever... John McClane has a bad day and still makes one of the most remarkable quotes in movie history ever: "Yippee-ki-yay, motherfucker!"

Die Hard 2 (1990)
A sequel of the best Christmas movie ever? Great! Another Christmas evening, another pissed off John McClane. And a lot of snow. What do you need more?

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (1989)
Chevy Chase as Clark W. Griswold and the normal family Christmas desaster. Someday I'll put those lights on my roof!

It's a Wonderful Life (1946)
The classic... Happy end Georg Bailey, an angel without wings, a scroochy Mr. Potter and a drop dead gorgeous Donna Reed.

Love Actually (2003)
Because this movie contains everything. Rock'n'Roll, cheesy romance, happy ends and a beautiful Martine McCutcheon.

Resolutions again

My little sis posted her New Year's resolutions on her blog. And I thought I should do that as well.

Like I said in a previous post it is important to be able to achieve the resolutions. And like every goal it should contain: what, how, until when... So here we go:

- Write a weeky column/Blog
- Go to a guitar teacher (start before April) / Learn the B-Chord (until July)
- Save money (CHF 1'000.- by the end of the year)
- Release your album until 31st May 2009
- Release Brooke's album until 31st August 2009
- Get the summerbody of Matthew McCounaghey
- Don't break your resolutions

What are yours?
