What did we learn on the show today?

Today I learned that it is Pi-Day (3.14), that in Glasgow during apartheid the place where the South-African embassy was situated was renamed in Nelson Mandela place and that there is a mall in New Zealand which plays Barry Manilow songs to hush away mall rats.
